Site Enhancements

This site uses the Exocet TrueType font used with Quake.

An example:

Please click here to download a 20k zip file of the font and a readme on how to install it. It's very easy to install, and it does make the site look pretty cool. Besides, if you get it, you can print some cool letters to your Quake friends. ;-}

Here's the installation instructions:

1. Download the file.
2. Unzip the exocet.zip file to any directory.
3. Click the Win95 Start Menu.
4. Goto Settings, and then click Control Panel.
5. Double Click the Fonts icon to start the Win95 Font Manager.
6. Click the File menu, and then click Install New Font.
7. Navigate to the directory where you unzipped the exocet.zip file. Exocet Light (TrueType) should appear in the List of Fonts box.
8. Click on the font to highlight it. Make sure that the Copy Fonts to Font Folder box is checked.
9. Click the OK button.
10. Congratulations! You've installed a new font.

If the font is already installed, Windows will tell you. Just exit the Font Manager if it is.

Now after you have the font, refresh this page. The following line should be in the Exocet font.
